Granola Making Tips

  • Resist the temptation to put the granola back in the oven after 10 minutes. It gets crispier as it sits and cools.
  • This recipe easily doubles. Just make sure to use a second cookie sheet as well. If the granola is not spread out enough, it won’t crisp up as nicely.
  • While I love to use parchment paper for easy cleanup, you can also put the honey almond granola directly onto an ungreased baking sheet.

Our favorite ways to use granola

This granola recipe doesn’t last very long in our house – especially when I also have homemade yogurt ready!

But granola isn’t just for yogurt. It’s also great as a cereal with yummy raw milk. Perfect for when you’re out of yogurt and need a quick breakfast as you head out the door.

Of course, it’s also great on its own. The kids love to grab a handful for a quick snack in the afternoon as they go about their day!
