Herbed Chicken Thigh Recipe

These herbed chicken thighs are a huge hit at my house! We love to serve them with brown basmati rice and steamed broccoli. My kids always get excited to see “Chicken, Rice, and Broccoli” on our bi-weekly menu plan!

Herbed Chicken Thighs

Cook Time 45 minutes
Total Time 55 minutes

Ingredients

  • 6 Bone-on, Skin-on Chicken Thighs
  • 3/4 TSP Himalayan Salt
  • 1/8 TSP Pepper
  • 1 TSP Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 TSP Onion Powder
  • 2 TSP Italian Herb Blend

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 400*F
  2. Place the chicken thighs, skin up, in a greased casserole dish.
  3. Combine all of the other ingredients.
  4. Evenly sprinkle over the chicken thighs.
  5. Place, uncovered, in the pre-heated oven and cook for 30-45 minutes or until they reach an internal temperature of 165*F.
  6. Once cooked, serve with rice and steamed broccoli on the side.
  7. Enjoy!

Ingredients

6 Bone-on, Skin-on Chicken Thighs
3/4 TSP Himalayan Salt
1/8 TSP Pepper
1 TSP Garlic Powder
1/4 TSP Onion Powder
2 TSP Italian Herb Blend

Instructions

Pre-heat the oven to 400*F

Place the chicken thighs, skin up, in a greased casserole dish.

Combine all of the other ingredients.

Evenly sprinkle over the chicken thighs.

How to Use the Broth from the Herbed Chicken Thighs

  • Spoon some directly on the meat, rice, and/or vegetables right before serving for additional flavor
  • Make it into a quick gravy with corn start or arrowroot powder mixed with some cold milk.
