Tomorrow we celebrate the birth of our 3rd child, Timothy. At nearly 7 years old, he’s determined to figure things out. There’s always a question to be answered and a job that he needs to get done. It’s when he doesn’t have enough responsibility that he tends to get a bit mischievous… This is also the child who will do anything just to snuggle on the couch with mom. Poor buddy, mom gets touched out so easily.

His is probably my most peaceful and favorite birth story. Many will argue that all of my births are peaceful. While that may be true, there was something special about the day he was born. Maybe it was because the sun was shining just a little more brightly, being surrounded by some amazing people, or the fact that we were anticipating our very first water birth. Whatever it was, I am so thankful to have these pictures to remember it more clearly.
Sadly, the woman, who took these pictures and who I had come to call friend, passed away a few years ago. May she forever rest in peace and may God continue to place special protection over her family.
