Technical Difficulties

Do you have days when things just seem to keep going wrong?

That was my day yesterday.

The day started like any other day – I said my morning prayers, made coffee, and made my husband’s lunch and breakfast. Then he left for work. I can’t pinpoint the exact moment things started going wrong…. maybe my mood just turned sour. Whatever it was, by 9AM, I already found myself looking to restart the day. I pulled the kids around me, apologized for yelling, and attempted to start over.

Not long after, I went to the office to tell my 3 year old to come out after going to “get the cat”, and I came to find out that something happened to the hard drive on my computer. I’m hoping that it can be fixed and all my information recovered, because I didn’t back it up.

Long story short, I wasn’t able to finish the post I had planned for you all today.

I wish I had something insightful to share – some deep thoughts on how this scenario and the choices we make play out in the grand scheme of things, or how even our best made plans can turn topsy-turvy at the last minute.

I got nothin’.

To be quite honest, I’m trying to quickly type up a short post for you in between breaking up fights in the next room.

That’s life. Some days go really well, everything gets done, people have good moods, and life is great! Other days…. not so much. It’s during these days that our true endurance is tested, our patience is tried, and we’re asked to grow.

Personal growth is painful, but always worth it. I just have to remember to make the choice to make the best of it. To become a beautiful plant, a seed must first break out of itself, to reach it’s full potential. Likewise, we must break out of our comfort zones to fulfill our purpose in life and become who we were created to be.
