Kids can help too!

Young kids LOVE to help out!

Kids can help too!

When children are really young, it’s all just a game. However, that game starts to become something they are proud to do.

My one year old son loves to throw trash away and help with the laundry. He tosses the article into the basket and goes away clapping for himself. My 4 year old daughter truly takes great pride in a well made bed …maybe too much pride. There are days where she’d rather sleep on top of her blanket just so she doesn’t mess it up. Then she reminds me, “no wrinkles mom.”

"No wrinkles mom!"
“No wrinkles mom!”
Today I just wanted to share some photos of my kids helping out around the house and outside!

I am still working on taking the time to allow them to help me. There are many times when I’m short on patience or just want the job done, and I won’t take the time to teach my kids how to do something correctly or at all. However, when I do take the time to teach them, I know they’re learning something valuable and my kids become good little helpers!

Remember: It may take a little longer to take the time to teach them the correct way to do something in the beginning, but it pays off in the end.

….Now I’ve just got to keep remembering that myself! Haha!

Do you let your kids help out too? Feel free to share in the comments!
