In Good Times and in Bad…

by Leave a Comment

“…I promise to be true to you in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health. I will love you and honor you all the days of my life.”

We’ve had quite the experience of the “in good times and in bad” part of our vows lately. Life has been a bit of a whirlwind the last 4 months…

To bring you up to speed:

We found out we were expecting another sweet baby

A month later we started talking about moving out of state in a year
…but within a few weeks we realized that we’d actually be moving much sooner than that

A month after that, we found out we lost our sweet baby at my 17 week appointment and had an induction to deliver her 15 week old body

….and that was the same weekend as a local family reunion…

Then 3 days later we moved out of state and are living in the basement of a relatives house.

Since then, we’ve…

Accepted an offer on our house

Started our home school year (Yes, I know that seems a bit early)

And bought a more fuel efficient car since my hubby has an hour’s commute to work.

But that’s not all….

Hubby is looking to start school either this fall or next spring

We’ll be looking for a place to rent

And praying that nothing falls through in the process of selling our house.

That, along with all that’s involved in moving to a new state…
…you know, you’d think it shouldn’t take that long to complete a few steps, but this whole process seems quite lengthy.

There you have it – our life right now in a nutshell! Now that you’re up to speed, my goal is to have a least a few more blog posts out in a shorter amount of time. But you know me… we’ll see what happens.

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
~ Proverbs 3:5-6
